BEYOND THE WALLS
Since its founding Beulah Alliance Church has experienced a God-inspired restlessness, a kind of uneasiness with the status quo. This restlessness is tied to the call of Jesus for his church to reach out, linked to the evident need of a world that does not yet know Him.
The very heart of Beulah is our commitment to reach, teach, and equip people to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. We have often said, that as long as one person does not know Christ, we will continue to reach out. The stakes are high: people’s eternity is at stake. We must continue to reach out.
It is true that the church is more than a physical address; it’s a community of people seeking to know Christ and fulfill His mandate. Jesus’ last words are our first concern – to reach the spiritually searching. This generates a holy restlessness. We are compelled by the knowledge of the many thousands of people who remain unaware of the transformation that comes from knowing Christ.
Just like the church of Acts, we are committed to reach our Jerusalem, our Judea, and to the ends of the earth. This commitment is taking us beyond the confines of our 98A Campus.
Following are our current, kingdom-building initiatives:
Whitemud Creek Campus
Whitemud Creek Campus was the first step in a 10-year ministry multiplication project. It’s been more than two years since we launched our first regional campus in southwest Edmonton. With a mission to reach southwest Edmonton for Jesus Christ, the Whitemud Creek congregation has passionately embraced God’s heart of reaching out to each other and to those around them.
Crosspoint Church Plant
In October 2010, Crosspoint Church - a church plant of Beulah - officially launched with the primary vision of “helping people find their way back to God.” Crosspoint has launched this new gospel community in northeast Edmonton.
Lighthouse Evangelical Spanish Church
God opened doors for us to partner with the Lighthouse Evangelical Spanish Church here in Edmonton. We have incorporated this ministry as a multi-site campus and have purchased their church building, which is located in Bonnie Doon. Our desire is to help them get well established so they can branch out in other areas, helping people to know Jesus.
International Church Plant in Vietnam
In the fall of 2010, we had an exciting opportunity to start an International Church in Vietnam where we can minister to the various needs of expatriate families and individuals living in Ho Chi Minh City.
We believe God has called our church to establish bases for worship and ministry across the Greater Edmonton area and around the world. Together, in obedience to Christ’s command to “Go!” we will channel our holy restlessness into life-transforming outreach.
